First Impression: Tonari no Nurse Aide (2024)

Oh hi Mahiro - long time no see!

As usual, I watch drama if I see my favorites in it. Takasugi Mahiro was a gem I discovered when I watched Takane to Hana few years back and I have been following his dramas closely ever since. Some were hits (looking at you Watashi no Oyome kun), some were questionable (WataDou, anyone?), and other was plain.. what is this? (Konin Todoke I still have no idea about you?)

First two episodes were okay. I really hate the premise of super handsome doctor with cool attitudes. We have seen enough of it — I am blaming KoiTsudu for this tbh. But in this drama the mystery is actually on the female lead so I am really curious to know how will that go.

I have never seen Kawaei Rina in anything before so in a way, it’s actually a good introduction to her for me.

I’ll stay for a couple more episodes — also more Takasugi Mahiro will never hurt.
